Overview
The challenge was to create a display font that is highly readable, clean, and follows the rules of type design. My solution to this was to create a typeface that featured curvy, stand out characters and combined art nouveau swooping forms, oblong shapes and very little contrast. I crafted a typeface that is attention grabbing, gritty and fun.
The W that started it all
The inspiration for my W came from Chloe Wise’s catalog book entitled "Second Nature".
My W is a sans serif infused with art deco style.

Reflection
This project taught me how to craft letter forms and all the tiny nuances that go into typefaces. I designed a font that I am proud of and has character.
